Mac probably supports something equivalent. On Windows computers, simply select all the image filenames, right-click, and choose “Send To->Compressed (zip) folder”. You can also do this yourself with the multiple image files and just email the single file. Some scanners can take the multiple image files and join them into one zip file. Just about any image file your scanner supports should work, but JPG is probably the best (produces the smallest file size). This option is not as convenient at the PDF format, because you will have many files to deal with, rather than one. Almost all scanners offer the option to save all the pages as a single PDF file.

As seen in another post, the following lines which I have commented out should insert the password but do not. The script below works properly for non-password protected zip files, but all files sent from the vendor have passwords. In my perfect world, I need to unzip all zipped files sent to a folder from a third-party vendor, import the unzipped file into a different folder then delete the zipped file. I have done some extensive research on what I am trying to accomplish and have even found examples of what to do, but cannot get it to work properly.
